International Symposium of Floriculture SIFLOR 2018 in Colombia

This academic and commercial event is being held in Medellin today, September 4 and will finish tomorrow, September 5 at the “El Tesoro” Events Center.

This contest brings together research leaders, managers, farm owners, heads of human resources, heads of logistics, heads of safety and health at work, suppliers and technologists, among other important actors in Colombian Floriculture, seeking to promote the competitiveness of Colombian flowers on the international markets.

International Symposium of Floriculture SIFLOR 2018 in Colombia is a joint initiative between Asocolflores and Expoflores, to give flower growers in Colombia and Ecuador, an event with diverse topics of great interest at the highest level.

Recognized international and local speakers as well as main actors and allies of the flower supply chain – will be the ones to expose important and relevant topics:

• Integrated management of Botrytis in cut flowers.
• Essential technologies for climate analysis and connection with plant physiology.
• Led light in flower crops.
• Artificial intelligence in agriculture.
